2010 VISOR/HAT VOUCHERS UPDATE - 6.22.10: Visors for those athletes that registered day of race at the 2010 Pride Day 5K are NOW AVAILABLE! You may pick those up at the administrative offices of the Utah Pride Center at 361 North 300 West Salt Lake City, UT 84103 (located directly above Café Marmalade). The UPC is open M-F 10AM-6PM. Be sure to take the voucher you received at registration with you to redeem for your visor, they will be available for pickup at the UPC until July 31st. Thank you all for coming out to the inagural Pride Day 5K and making it such a success, we hope you had as much fun as we did! See you all next year!

Come join us for the Salt Lake City Pride Day 5K in conjunction with the 2010 Utah Pride Festival. Runners, joggers and walkers of all stripes are invited to participate. The 5K course will take runners past Salt Lake's beautiful Capitol building, City Creek Canyon and finishing in Memory Grove. Bring the dogs, bring the kids & strollers...heck, bring your grandmother! It's sure to be a fun time for all!
Are you a true Salt Lake City Pride Day 5K supporter? Register for the "Super Pride Strider" category where a portion of your race registration fee will go directly to the Utah Pride Center's Student Scholarship Program to award Utah students with higher-education scholarships. SISTER DOTTIE DIXON TO EMCEE THE 2010 PRIDE DAY 5K
It's Official...we are super excited to announce that the just recently voted 2010 Best of Utah, Sister Dottie Dixon, will be head emcee at 2010's Pride Day 5K and she'll give everyone a good send off at the start line as well as announcing the festivities at the finish. Not familiar with Sister Dottie's work...check her out here!
Sister Dottie is also the Grand Marshal of this year’s Utah Pride Festival, so there will be plenty of opportunities to meet her during the weekend. Thanks Sister Dottie! (P.S. She will be honored at a reception on Friday, June 4 starting at 7PM at the I.J. and Jeanné Wagner Jewish Community Center. Tickets are $35 and going fast! They can be purchased on the Utah Pride Festival website.
